How do I get my headset and mic to work on my computer (altec lansing)?
I am attempting to work from home and the company I am starting with said that I would need to have a headset w/mic to work with their autodialer. I have cable connection and when I click on the # to call on the computer it calls my home phone, and I can hear everything through the phone, but nothing on the headset. I called technical support for the company, but they said it would be 2 days before someone could get back with me. How does it work with a cable connection?
is the microphone driver installed? all comps pick up headphones but some need to have the microphone drivers installed too. was there a cd that came with the headset or do yo uhave just the headset. click your my computer button and go to control panel. click add new hardware and see if it recognizes your headset. if it does, continue with installation, if not then you’ll have to download the drivers from Altec Lansings site.

The Motorola MOTOPURE H15 Bluetooth headset is very compact in comparison to the HS850 but is a bit heavy and feels awkward in your ear until you get used to it.
