Motorola Type

What is the diffrence between diffrent types of motorola razrs and how do u know what type u have?
Such as motorola razr v3 or anything diffrent????
first came the V3, then the V3i, V3t— Which added a megapixel camera and a MP3 player, then came the V3’s in different colors no difference in the features. then came V3xx which is carried by cingular right now..a longer version of the v3i…so its basically the same phone in different names and different colors. To check which one you have take out your battery and look for the model… T-mobile will have–V3,V3t Cingular will have–V3,V3i,V3xx Verizon and Sprint—V3m or V3c.

Motorola Razr2 Espresso Vs. Motorola E8 Rokr
Any fan of Motorola’s slim yet feature packed mobile phones will probably recognise their RAZR and ROKR product lines. Both the Motorola RAZR2 Espresso and the Motorola E8 ROKR are renowned in their own right as trendy yet useful mobile phone units that have probably been equally as popular at various times. Much currently separates these two particular incarnations of the popular Motorola series’, both on, and beneath the surface.
Comparing Features of the Motorola RAZR2 Espresso and Motorola E8 ROKR
Essentially fairly similar in dimensions, the Motorola E8 ROKR comes out just that little bit ahead by merit of being ever so slightly smaller as well as about 17 grams lighter. Not much, to be sure, but slimmer and lighter is definitely better, the only question is, did the Motorola E8 ROKR sacrifice functionality for slim looks?
Off the bat, the answer would appear to be a resounding no. In terms of storage, the ROKR still comes out on top with its 2 GB of internal storage and support for microSD cards. The RAZR2 Espresso on the other hand, despite the same amount of internal storage, does not support microSD cards, making it a bit of a disappointment in that regard.
Apart from this, both phones are fairly similar on the whole, except for in one particular area, that is, user interfaces. Both the Motorola RAZR2 Espresso and the Motorola E8 ROKR utilise different types of user interfaces that manifest in varying ways, so much so it all could be thrown out as being a matter of preference.
In the case of the Motorola RAZR2 Espresso, the mobile phone takes the form of a flip phone, with some nice treats added in. With an exterior screen that is touch sensitive, various options can be displayed without even needing to flip open the cover. By incorporating this exterior touch screen into the design, both flexibility and ease of use is provided for by the Motorola RAZR2 espresso.
Along the same vein, the Motorola E8 ROKR provides a much more revolutionary type of user interface with its amazing morphing keys. Unfortunately, the user interface can be a bit tough to adapt to, as it would take time to get used to the keys that are available, as well as the new ones that pop up. In a nutshell, all the ‘buttons’ on the Motorola E8 ROKR can morph or dim themselves out depending on the task at hand. Furthermore, the scroll wheel provided has drawn some flak for not being a complete circle, but rather a horseshoe shape.
Wrapping it up, it could be said that both these phones are remarkably similar albeit profoundly different at the same time. Much of the functions available on either phone are exactly the same. The main difference would lie in the very, very different user interface pioneered on the Motorola E8 ROKR, but many who were originally sceptical about it have been won over gradually. On the opposing side of the fence, the Motorola RAZR2 Espresso offers a more time-tested user interface with a few new tweaks. Bottom line, both of these mobile phones present unique features that are both engaging and interesting.
