Would the charger and battery for the Motorola Moto Q work for the Q9?

I want to get a Q9, and I want an extra battery and a desktop charger for it. All I found online were ones for the Moto Q, so I’d like to know if the upgraded version can still use the same charger and/or battery.

I’ve checked on http://www.BatteriesPlus.com and both Cell phone use the exact same battery. So you should definitely be able to use the same charger.
