Car Subwoofers – Why You Need Them
Car subwoofers are the life of a quality car sound system. Basically, subwoofers are nothing more than additional speakers attached to your sound system. Car subwoofers may be passive or powered. Passive woofers derive their power from the car’s audio system, but a powered subwoofer derives its power independently. These days, in keeping with the latest technologies, car subwoofers come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
As you may know, different speakers attached to amplifiers deliver different frequencies of sounds. Subwoofers attached to an amplifier deliver low frequency bass sounds in the music. In usual sound systems, the octaves are missing. Generally, listeners do not miss these sounds either. But if you love the rich and varied sounds of music, or if you want to listen to bass tracks (music that has been specially created for bass), you would miss subwoofers badly.
