how do hook up my tv to my cable AND be able to swich between antenna and cable?
my cable does NOT have HD yet so I want to use my antenna sometimes to watch hdtv of my local channels. how do I hook up the cable and the antenna so i can switch back and forth with out having to unplug the cable everytime i have to hook up the anntenna! thanks
If you have a VCR and a few cables heres how. Run your standard cable to VCR, then use the AV out to connect to your TV. Run the antenna to the coax connection on HDTV ( note TV must have ATSC tuner). Use cable via video connection. TV via TV tuner.
