can i use a fm antenna to broadcasting on a am transmitter?
hi i have a fm antenna and a am transmitter cause i cant find any am antennas out there if you no of any sites that do cheap am broadcasting antennas let me no thanks
but anyway can i use the fm antenna on the am transmitter and will it do anything to the output?
You will need to have an antenna that can “match” the output of the AM transmitter.
If you don’t have the technical knowledge, be advised that your transmitter can go up in flames..literally, if you don’t know what you’re doing.
If you’re going to do “Part 15,” you can legally only get 200 to 300 feet out with FM. On AM, you can legally get out a mile or two.
