Single Turn

Warhammer 40k being Assaulted by multiple units in a single turn?
im in range to be assaulted by 2 units the first unit assaults and all combat is resolved the second unit assaults and im told i cant resolve close combat with this new unit because i have already had my close combat with another unit is this true?
and are all three units locked in combat?
Yes and no.
Page 41 of the rulebook answer the question under “Attacking”.
Basically, if two units assault one unit in the same turn, then the defending unit may split its attacks freely between the units depending, obviously, on the deployment of the models (see diagram p41).
If, however, the defenders are already locked with the first unit and are then assaulted in a subsequent turn by the second unit, the defenders *must* resolve their attacks against the unit with which they were initially locked (and they’ll all be in base contact with the locked enemy because of the pile-in move, right?).

Glaus’ homer in 9th gives Braves 5-4 win over KC
Troy Glaus figures it was his turn for some late-game heroics. Glaus hit a leadoff homer in the ninth inning and the Atlanta Braves beat the Kansas City Royals 5-4 on Saturday night for their fourth straight victory. “Once I got to two strikes, I tried to do anything I could to get on,” Glaus said.
