Your TV is probably a monitor!
A monitor is basically a TV without a tuner! Most people use monitors for a large screen to their computers/laptops!
You’ll need to purchase an external tuner. Hook your cable/satellite to the tuner via the coax, then hook the tuner up to your TV via Component(red, green & blue) cables or HDMI cables. That part is up to you!
