Can you use a piezoelectric earpiece for a crystal radio instead of a telephone reciever and cord?
Im making a crystal radio and the instructions call for a telephone reciever and cord used to connect. I know some simple radio applications use the piezo earpice and figured it could be used here as well. Are there any problems with this?
Yes, the thing to consider with a crystal radio is that it produces a very small audio signal so the earpiece needs to be very sensitive.
