Recording Sky Digital to DVD Recorder?
I used to be able to do this but moved my furniture recently and now can’t get it recording!
So I have a Samsung T220HD tv which has one scart socket.
It has a scart lead going into my Sky Digital box (not Sky+).
There is another scart lead going from my sky box into my Daewoo VCR/DVD recorder.
There is also a coaxial (i think!) cable with the male end in the tv and female end in the sky box.
As far as I can remember this is the set-up I had before.
When I try to record a sky channel, it says ‘unstable video signal’ as I have no picture on the screen but I can hear the sound.
Took the recorder downstairs and it works fine with the Sky+ HD box I have there.
Any ideas?!
What you have should work. I would look at the scart cable connecting the Sky box to the recorder. Often the scart plugs are a bit poor and connections easily get broken
