transmitting audio output from laptop to my music system via ipod to radio transmitter?
i have a ipod to radio transmitter which i use in my car to listen music, but when i connect that transmitter to my laptop and want the audio output in my music system which do not have any aux port, the audio output from the music system has too much disturbance in it. why is it so, the sound is very clear in my car through that transmitter(when transmitting from ipod to car’s radio) but why not on the music system(when transmitting from laptop to music system)….please advice me
Two possibilities.
One, make sure the volume on your computer is turned up. If it’s low, then your music system works harder at amplifying it, which also amplifies the normally unnoticeable electrical noise in the wires.
Two, if your transmitter is too far from your music system, then it may be at the edge of its broadcast range, like when you’re getting further away from the city and radio stations start to fade and get garbagey. Range is usually only about 25 feet, and if there are walls in the way, then even less range. (It’s line of sight, so it doesn’t go around doorways; it goes through the walls even if it’s harder.)
