Headphones with Mic For Xbox 360 ?
I have to wear headphones when im on my Xbox due to my kids waking up at pin drop.. the problem is that when I play online and I use the standard Xbox 360 headset Im wearing the headphones over the top of the headset, This gets really annoying due to the fact that its terrible for echo and very uncomfortable.. Does anyone know of Headphones with a built in Mic that can be used with the 360 ?? I have looked but cant find any.. Preferably wireless .. Thanks

if you buy the wireless headset from gamestation or wherever, (£30 ish) then there’s an option in the settings menu on the 360 to play all sound, not just voice through JUST the headset, and not the TV.

Breakthrough Features Of AIT Backup Media Tape
Advanced intelligent tape is one of the first multi-sourced tape format whose target market was mid-range server market. 2-129 users can be accommodated by the AIT system in commercial working environment. AIT tape format which was launched in 1996 supported this important segment of market with the combined features of superior data integrity, capacity, fast accessibility and reliability.
Numerous breakthrough technologies added in AIT tape helped in creating thinner but stronger tape media that provides better coating and more stability than other tape formats. The AIT technology has introduced memory chip in the AIT cartridges and new head technology in the tape drives. All these latest technologies elevate the output and efficiency of the drives and reduce the frequency of errors. So this makes the AIT tape technology ideal for robotic applications and tape libraries linked to the mid-range backup systems.
Five pin connector EEPROM chip is included in the AIT data cartridge. The hardware of MIC (memory in cassette) was upgraded in 1999 to 64 KB. The AIT tape drive has a mating connector which contacts with the AIT tape cartridge’s MIC connector as it is inserted into the drive. So the tape drive directly reads the information from the MIC chip.

All of the essential information is stored on the MIC chip that is related to the tape cartridge’s first segment. This includes the data fields, data files information and their location on the media. This Information is written by the application software. The need for reading the individual ID address during the tape movement has been eliminated, because the firmware of the AIT tape drive helps it to make estimation as how far is the location it has to fast-rewind or forward. When it reaches the target area, the motors of the AIT tape drive slow down and the ID-markers are picked up for fine positioning. This enhances the speed of searching process up to 150 times and the reliability level also increases as the AIT tape drive has a duplicate of the data search information.
ALDC (Advanced Lossless Data Compression) technique is also used in AIT tape format that provides unmatchable capacity and performance features. Previously the ALDC chip was used in the mainframe type drives. ALDC compression chip offers 2.6:1 compression ratio while the other techniques offer 2:1 compression ratio. ECC (error correction code) mechanism detects the errors while writing and removes the error by re-writing it. The advanced metal evaporated technology guarantees data integrity in AIT tape format. Coating of conventional tape’s media is done with magnetic material of oxides or metal particles. Adhesives are combined with this substance so that the material could be bounded together. It is then deposited to plastic backing. Coating is sprayed or directly applied and then it is allowed to dry. The media manufactured in this way has more chances of being effected by contaminations of particles of other chemicals. This increases the dropout’s frequency and therefore lesser magnetic density will be available for data recording.
