Ham radio operators host ‘Field Day’
PHILOMATH – The Benton County Amateur Radio Emergency Servicesgroup – known as ARES for short – is expecting to host a crowd ofamateur (or “ham”) radio operators from Corvallis, Philomath andAlbany during its annual “Field Day” event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.today at Marys River Park in Philomath.
