Emergency Center is site of June 26 Field Day test
NORTH TONAWANDA–The Amateur Radio Association of the Tonawandas will hold a 24-hour Field Day beginning at 2 p.m. on June 26 in the Emergency Operations Center at North Tonawanda Fire Headquarters, 495 Zimmerman St. Designed as a practice session, it will test the preparedness of amateur radio operators in emergency situations when cell phones and other communications don’t work.
