Electronics Genius
CALLING ALL SMART PEOPLE GOOD WITH ELECTRONICS!!!!!?

On friday, new years day, my cell phone vibrated from my counter top into my toilet. I immediately removed the battery and soaked up the water in the back and front and then a hair dried it with cold air. The touch screen still works but NONe of the buttons work. Would replacing the battery help my situation? what else can i do? I have been leaving it in places where i will get air blown into it but nothing seems to make the buttons work.
I don’t have insurance on the cell phone. are there any warranty’s that can get me a replacement? it is a palm pilot centro.
I really can spend much money on this and it is crucial that i get it working again, so for all you cell phone geniuses… HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!

i know what you mean. I had the same problem a couple of months ago. what you shouldn’t do is blow dry it. It will mess up the electronic parts in the phone and damage it more. If you bought the phone less than a year ago there should be a manufacturers warranty. If more than a year ago, im sorry my friend, you may have to buy a phone at full retail. Call customer care from a another phone to see what else u can do.
