How easy is it to siphon petrol from a modern car?
I am about to scrap my megane as it failed its MOT and its not worth paying for its repairs so I want to siphon out the petrol before doing so. I still want to be able to drive it to the scrappy’s afterwards so I’d rather not drill the tank. Any ideas? I don’t know if I can just shove a tube into the tank or not – I presume there will be something preventing this.
Enjoy the last few miles driving it around, enjoying what could have been if it’s safe to do so. Using up the petrol, instead of leaving a bad taste in your mouth from disposing of it, and trying to save the dregs of the tank.
